Great Place to Work® Institute Japan "Best Workplaces in Japan" Survey

Morgan Stanley Japan Securities Co., Ltd. ranked #2 in the fourth "Best Workplaces in Japan" survey conducted by Great Place to Work® Institute Japan. The top 25 list was published in Nikkei Business (March 1, 2010 issue).

The Great Place to Work® survey is the world's largest annual workplace survey conducted in 40 countries with participation by more than 3,600 companies.

The institute selected the best companies based on the analysis and evaluation of direct employee feedback in the areas including the credibility of management, fairness, pride and camaraderie. It also carried out further analysis on corporate cultures and philosophies, internal communication, employment policies and benefits, career development programs, initiatives on work-life balance and diversity. Eighty-one leading companies in Japan participated in the 2010 Japan survey.
